Oaktree Systems, Inc., Calverton, NY                      Senior Account Manager                      (1999-2004)

I served as Senior Account Manager, encompassing project management for several client accounts.  Developed new business applications, coordinated between all departments and with outside vendors.  Provided technical management for call center, lockbox, data entry, and billing, analyzing quality controls.

·         Marketed real-time internet reporting systems in several applications.

·         Spearheaded growth in B2B Product Fulfillment utilizing existing web-based systems.

·         Wrote proposals, contracts, surveys, technical resource manuals, promotional advertising and sales materials.

·         Built Revenues - In the last twelve months my accounts added over $1 million to the bottom line.

·         Liaison between product development, support, sales departments, management and clients.

 

Oaktree Systems, Inc., Calverton, NY                      Senior Programmer/Database Manager (1988-1999) 

Starting in the programming department, I became a Senior Programmer and Database Analyst, helping to develop the company's direct marketing campaign software, for some of Money's "Top Ten Charitable Organizations".

·         Led Y2K conversion efforts, converting from Btrieve topology to SQL Server 7.0.

·         Received a customer service award in 1998 for managing Direct Mail campaigns for non-profit companies.

·         Developed “Chapter Management” system for national non-profit charities to monitor income.

 

 

Test Technology, Inc., Hauppauge, NY         Programmer/Network Manager              (1982-1988)

I helped this defense-industry engineering firm by developing cost analysis and payroll software on IBM PCs, as well as engineering utilities to aid in the testing of printed circuit boards.

·         Managed two programmers developing accounting and management utilities.

·         Managed three data entry personnel in accounting system operations.

·         Diagnosed and corrected network configuration problems for up to 30 workstations.

·         Worked with engineering to develop utilities for Grumman contracts.

I taught data entry and beginning RPG programming courses in a classroom and hands-on setting.

I enhanced this consumer electronics distributor's order entry and developed sales and purchase order systems.

Although originally hired as a junior programmer, I was quickly given management responsibility.

·         Managed a three-person onsite programming team developing a manufacturing software application on the HP-3000 mini-computer.
